Detroit Science Center Over 25 hands-on interactive exhibits in the Exhibit Hall, live interactive science demonstrations in our Discovery Theater, a Kid Science area just for tots, hands-on activity stations where you can try the featured experiment of the day, and a laser light show. The Detroit Zoological Institute Consists of 3 facilities: the Detroit Zoo with 125 acres of naturalistic habitat in Royal Oak, and the Belle Isle Zoo and Belle Isle Aquarium, in Detroit. Friends of Belle Isle Aquarium Dedicated to the continuity and preservation of the hundred year old aquarium in Detroit. Includes a virtual tour, news of the struggle to remain operational, and events. |
